To wit, coming in at only two minutes and twenty-three seconds, aptly, The Happiest Days of Our Lives from Pink Floyd’s last rock and roll masterpiece, pre stoner age Beavis and Butthead bangers ball Music Television, is not only inarguably better, more interesting, illustrative, intelligent…more beautiful than the noize kids these dayz are listening too…Don’t agree with me…name an album from the year of our Lord 2024 that will be still be heralded over forty years later, unlike the Carter administration (the irony, of ironies your Archie Bunker strikes back article, NOT, gets released the same week the pathetic old man goes to Purgatory where his egomaniacal soul belongs). Unlike Taylor Swift, if you unplugged the music The Floyd could still take a stage, without sound affects, I mean effects (if you don’t get Floydians), and make like The Beatles and knock it out of Shea Stadium. With all due disrespect to Carter, decline was a narrative of the seventies because it is as it was…But, speaking of attitude is everything, I pray I will not have to admit to you that you were right, forty years from now…Trump, Part Duh administration will not be the decline and fall of Pax Americana if the Hugh Hefner/Tony Sporano, Ill Duce wannabe gets his way and his basket full of Deplorables has the ear and actually influences the POTUS. God help U.S. Remarkably, on this day in 1979, Tower Records expecting customers to shell out over 10 bucks for an [double] album was asking ALOT! Now every single kid on planet earth with a smart phone can you boob tube the dark side of the postwar dream for the low, low price of Time…but, to Robert, maybe I am just to detached from reality for you to hear wat I am saying…as I engage in false nostalgia and make like an actual Republican, conservative, and still live in the past glory dayz…Which, as Trump Floods the Zone with Shitte and I do fear and loath the back to the future Cold War 2.0….after all, your good attitude about how why, and rich, the present generation is makes no mention of how and why the Axis of Evil Doers is still alive and well Lenin’s Tomb, I mean greatest hits spin-off is in The Kremlin, The Forbidden City still has Chairman Xi, I mean Mao’s mug shot hanging above the doorway, and a real life Stars Wars Darth Vadar look and sound a like The Ayatollah still pulls a million strongmen eagerly chanting DEATH TO AMERICA, DEATH TO THE…when preforming in downtown Tehrooran…Imagine if there were still a picture of a little Austrian turd hanging above The Brandenburg Gate (Allied Forces R.I.P.) No worries…gotta run on…I need a new IPad made in a wannbe overlords Chinese Communist Corona Party Uyghur slave labor/death camp. Thanks for taking my rant R.T. Happiest Days of our Lives, I mean Happy New Year to ya! Peace through superior mental firepower

My 96-year-old father-in-law consistently voted for Pierre Trudeau from the 60s through the 70s, and 80s. 15 years in office. The best government Canada ever had, he claims. Consensus has it that Pierre’s son Justin came to office riding a wave of geriatric nostalgia that obliviously overlooked the fact that Justin had absolutely nothing to recommend him for that office.

Currently, Justin’s own caucus is demanding his resignation, one member calling him delusional for being so cocksure he’ll sweep the Liberal party back to a majority next election.
