I’ve done a couple of recent podcasts that I wanted to draw to my readers’ attention.
I talked a few weeks ago with Karen Svoboda on the Defense of Democracy podcast about Moms for Liberty (as a follow-up to this article). Check it out. I recently did another podcast with her where we discussed conservative panic at the decline of religious belief, as well as the salacious story of Bridget Ziegler. We found some amusement in that story, but also some edification. I’ll link to that podcast when it’s available.
More recently, I had a conversation with Michael Liebowitz of The Rational Egoist about the conflict in Gaza and how our domestic reaction to it undermines the pretensions of the “woke” left (as a follow-up to this article). You can find the interview on Spotify or on YouTube.
As a follow-up on that issue from a more mainstream source, see Anthony Fisher of The Daily Beast discussing how the left’s reaction to the war in Gaza “isolates Jews as a singular identity group for whom the rules and protections of campus safetyism don’t apply.” Exactly.
Now on to a few interesting news items I wanted to clear out before I begin my end-of-year review.

We have a particularly interesting year coming up, and you won’t want to miss my commentary in the next year.
The Tracinski Letter makes a great gift, so consider giving a gift subscription to someone you think would value a defense of reason and individualism in today’s world.
And both my books are still available before Christmas if you order them on Amazon.
The Paradox of Anxiety
Speaking of “campus safetyism,” here’s a fascinating look from Derek Thompson at how attempts to address the rising problem of youth mental illness are making it worse.
