I’ve got a roundup today of interesting articles that I’ve been wanting to share with you all—some of the more interesting and perceptive pieces I’ve come across recently from other writers. I originally sat down just to give them to you as a list, but as I got going, I realized most of them fell under a common theme, which I will give to you in several parts. They all represent the “late stage” of a given ideology, the point at which a set of ideas has been allowed to work itself out to their inevitable conclusion.

The first article is from center-left “neoliberal” Jeremiah Johnson—I interviewed him here—writing about the dominant genre of left-wing social media: “Ugh, Capitalism,” which he calls “the laziest form of criticism on the internet.”
