P.S. [post shitte] What The Don did and said to Zelensky, right there in the pen at The Bada Bing, I mean Office, blaming the street fighting man for a half million of his fellow innocent countrymen’s being murdered by The Soviets, I mean Putins willing executioners, will go down as one of the biggest black marks by a POTUS in history. Again, please Calgon take him away
How to FIGHT BACK against a POLICE STATE. I pledge my sacred life, honor and misfortune to make it so any wannabe dick tator and his willing executioners pay for their crimes against humanity I will not hesitate… Resistance is not futile, but one’s duty and moral obligation eliminate with extreme prejudice authoritarianism in our midst…not just to keep talking about how evil…he….is. Far be it from one who likes to call himself The Village Idiwitt, but We the Living in Idiocracy, not the Fourth Reichstag…much as I loathe what re lie able toadys in Congress the likes of Crenshaw, Johnson, Paul have become…and forgive me Jesus…I effing hate, and I do mean HATE TRUMP…The Ill Duce wannabe, Tony Soprano In the Flesh cannot squelch my sacred right to free speech, anymore than I truly wish the hangman had already taken a man’s life for the atrocity of January 6th…and how can you disagree with that moral sentiment Robert, for if he suffered and died for his grave sin against our sacred Republic four fing years ago…The Trascinski Letter would need not now be all about Neo Nazis: A Warning from Robert Trascinski’s History Class.
Anyway, Bob, the best answer on how to fight back lies with The Law and in the genius of The Founders Big Ten Commandments! Coming in at NUMERO FIVE…NO PERSONS shall be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process…and if I could say this to The Dons face…he and all his top guns, like Nuremberg offendants…should have already, swiftly, suffered the same undue, evil, permanent suspension of their rights…and suffered the same fate, banished to an El Salvadoran gulag for the remainder of their sorry excuses for existence
The Bada Bing, I mean Oval Office does need an exterminator…so, to Witt…trigger warning…to rehash my preamble, opening salvo against the Trump Crime Family is exactly what I hold to be true, as you to should have deeply ingrained in your intellectual mind Robert…A deeply held moral sentiment, as nothing in my not so hyperbolic rant is anything but descriptive…that got me permanently banned by your boy friend Berny last April (free speech for thee pencil neck geek Berny, not for me!) over at the absurdly self aggrandizing titled UnPopulist
# REMEMBERASHLIBABBITT the young looney tune bought a BIG FING LIE and died a premature death by crook, line and sinker uttered over and over again, by a shameless, mendacious, narcissistic, megalomaniac, casino card shark magnet, crony capitalist pig, neo nationalist anti truth sociopath, FTX, I mean NFT wannabe bitcon man billionaire, serial adulterer credibly accused rapist, reality tv porn star, formerly the world’s biggest twitter troll turned soft porn cite XXX tweeter, GOP Crasher and Americas Now Biggest Sore Loser…Calgon take him away
Again, Robert, if you are going to repeatedly refer, as you have already convicted The Don of crimes against our Republic in your writings for being a wannabe aautocrat…well then, you and the pencil neck geek boy should already in wholehearted agreement with me for…speaking of a warning from history…I have been correctly lambasting the rich white trashman for years and confronting and sadly loosing every one of my still die hard Trump sicko fan friends. Et tu Berto!?ASHLI BABBITT STILL CANNOT BE REACHED FOR COMMENT. Gotta run on. Thanks for taking my rant R.T. Peace through superior mental firepower
I have to disagree with you on one point. You said Trump’s tariffs were the stupidest ever. No, the head’s of other governments who stated how stupid Trump’s tariffs were, then retaliated with corresponding tariffs, those are the stupidest.
I advise your readers to work at the local congressional level if they live in an district where pressure on the member of the House is a republican who is not an avid MAGA believer and could loose his/her seat in 2026. Putting the heat on these guys might cause some of them to team up with the dems to get hearings or even some legislation or to not seek re-election.
I live in the AZ-1 congressional district (Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, & part of Phoenix [mostly high-income, high net worth]) held by republican David Schweikert who has narrowly won his seat each election. He is not a MAGA republican but as far as I can tell he has been silent on the Trump issues you have been raising. I just wrote to him asking for his stance on these issues. If he does not respond or, as I believe will happen, he will respond with wishy washy answers, I will let him know that his silence or noncommittal answers means that he implicitly supports Trump's immoral and illegal positions and that I will work feverishly to have him unseated in the primary or, if he wins the primary, in the general election. If he surprises me and actually expresses opposition to some or all of Trump's actions, I will ask him what actions he has taken and plans to take to combat Trump's actions. I'll either support his actions or, more likely, find them insufficient and work to unseat him as just noted. He will also get to know me through my participation in town halls and demonstrations.
I wasn't planning on spending much of the next couple of years being active in politics, but this regime change is a call to action.
I would like some advice though. If things work out the way I think they will, do you think it's best for me to work to have Rep. Schweikert defeated in the primary or just join the Dems in there efforts to do so?
To me the most important question you raise is whether we are still in an environment of serious but ordinary political and legal disputes within the republic or have reached the knife fight stage. Trumpists such as Kurt Schlichter and anti-Trumpists such as the Bulwark people claim we are in a knife fight. I do not think we are there. I realize we have an incompetent, power hungry president who is doing bad things and wants to do worse ones. To varying extents that has been life in these United States since at least January 2009. I see the country as being in a political mess and struggle, a very serious mess and struggle, but not at a time to take to the barricades. As an aside, I suggest that you read Hugh Thomas’s history of the Spanish civil war if you haven’t already with particular reference to the tragedy of Spanish liberals finally being left with nowhere to go in a country with options reduced to a choice between Franco and Stalin. As I’ve said, I don’t think we are near that, but it gives a person something to think about. Spaniards in 1925 probably did not think they were close to it either.
Yes. Kilmar Abrego Garcia. That's our key fight, and stories like it. Thank you for the actionable perspective. We need optics revealing Trump's monstrosity.
Thank you for your post. I felt rallied. A bit of a Churchillian moment. I can't help myself. I have to post his Battle of Britain speech. We are Churchill. We are the French Resistance. That is how we must see ourselves at this time.
Churchill in 1940:
"Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."
Thank you, Rob. This is actionable and timely. I do have to remind myself from time to time that at least we live in interesting times. Also, I didn’t see a link to support the newsletter in your recent articles; it would be good to have one.
thanks for this. friends, please help this not-so-networked man tap into news on upcoming DC protests.
